"Make New Connection" and follow the instructions in the wizard. For Windows 2000
or Windows XP, select "Start" then "Control Panel" then "Network Connections" (or "Dial-up

I get Username or Password Invalid when trying to dial in!
1. First off, make sure your password is correct. Windows will * it out, so you should
try re-typing it. Capitalization is important! Normally, both username and password
are all lowercase.
2. When connecting to CrispNet's numbers above, you should have "username@crisp.net"
for the "User" in your Dialing window. If your username is "joe", it should read
"joe@crisp.net".
3. Give us a call at 732-885-0808, there may be a problem with your account.

How do I know which number to use?
At the beginning of your local Phone Book is a list of local exchanges. The "exchange"
is the second set of numbers in a 10 digit telephone number. For instance, if your
number is "732-885-0808", your exchange is "885". If that exchange is listed, than
any number 732-885-XXXX is toll-free call for you.

With CrispNet, you can use any POP3 mail program you choose, and no one client

it will ask:
- E-Mail Address: username@crisp.net (where "username" is the name
you chose when you set up the account)
- Type of Incoming Mail Server: POP3
- Incoming Mail Server: mail.crisp.net
- Outgoing (SMTP) Mail Server: mail.crisp.net
|
Can I use IMAP?
Yes! CrispNet now supports IMAP. Use the same mail server and username listed above.
